Gardening Frenzy!

Recently something has come over me. Something that i don't understand and something i don't know the origin of. I've been hit with a gardening frenzy!
I have spent hours out in our front garden pulling up 2 ft long poppy roots and prickly borage plants. Literally hours! And only in the last week.
This is a completely random and "un-Alpha-ish" state to be in. I previously hated gardening because every time i pulled out the shovel the spiders would come running. The session would end with either me running in terror from the unholy amount of creatures in the garden or limping back into the house with a sprained bum muscle. I kid you not!
Now, however, I've discovered that i really enjoy it! I wear a great pair of gardening gloves to keep my hand feminine looking and i spend hours at a time out there having an absolute ball. It's rather scary when i think of it, considering what i was like before...
And this is an open invitation to any of my friends that like gardening too...come join me! i still have all the back garden beds to do, and that mint spells mighty pleasant when you pull it up ;)
Keep it green folks!

What's YOUR Blog About?

Listening to: The Revelation Song by Kari Jobe.

This evening i made a purchase which i am considerably stoked about. Or maybe i should say 3 purchases. I bought 3 new music albums! WOW Worship 2009 (because of the aforementioned song which is one of my new favorites), Phillips, Craig & Dean's Greatest Hits album, and Avalon: The Greatest Hits....and yes, mix albums can more often than not be based around a few core songs with the rest just being "fillers" BUT i was pleasantly surprised to find that almost EVERY SINGLE SONG i have listened to so far i have loved! What a win purchase!
Other things that happened today:
-i tested a hair dryer that sounded like a ferrari, i kid you not, it was great, but obviously something wrong is going on inside it.
-I found a mouse head outside and half the guts of the poor victim. Dice the ferocious beast strikes again! sometimes it really pays to forget to feed him sometimes...he really goes on killing rampages. (and don't worry, i'd only forgotten for about 2 days, and he had plenty of little critters to eat outside. case in point: mouse head.)
and well nothing much else happened except that i just wasted a full minute of my time staring mindlessly out the window with my mouth half open and eyes glazed over as i tried to summon up some memory of what else happened today. all in a day's work!
and really, i'm actually feeling my creative juices flowing like a river, this is great! and on that high note i'll end this post, no sense in letting the creative juices dry up and turning this post into a wasteland.
Good night!
